    Read this book!

If you want to learn how the Arabian Gulf oil-rich states can be in such a mess, read this funny and informative book. It is supposed to be about a fictitous country but it is fairly clear that the oil sheikhdoms of the Middle East are the target. Only available on Amazon.

    Laundro-State

You heard about the Narco-State, well Kuwait is a Laundro-State.

The Al-Sabah family run the country like their private feifdom and they love money laundering. Here is one example how the Sabah family do it, laundering proceeds of fraud and then - just like in the main story of this website - using security forces of Kuwait like private thugs to repress any dissent.

    Birds of a feather ...

Kuwait, Saudi, Emirates, Qatar ... different brand names for the same product: new "countries" that are just corrupt family businesses.

And the more corrupt a person is, the more "succesful" they are. Here is the UAE ambassador to the USA:

    Decadence as a diplomatic privilege.

    It is still happening ...

There is no "law" in Kuwait. The place is run by individuals who do what they like, and the state apparatus like prisons and police serve the whims of these people.

Around 12 June 2024 a fire in a block of flats in the Manqaf area killed 49 people. The heroic minister of interior visited the site. In the video below (in Arabic) this guy, Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah (member of the ruling Al-Sabah family) asks a person he thinks is the building owner or superintendent a few questions about how many people were in the building. Zero enquiry about how the fire started or where or anything like that, then orders this man imprisoned and says he will not be released until he, the great Fahad, allows it. No charges. No trial. No legal process. This is how these people run these countries, and Kuwait is not unique.
